Job description
A critical access hospital in southwestern Oregon has an opening for an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team.
About the Position:
Schedule: 3x 12-hour shifts, 10a-10p
Annual volume: 5,000
Daily Volume: 10-15 patients during the day, 2-3 patients at night on average, max 10 per night
EMR: Evident, thrive, and CPSI
4 weeks + 1 week of CMEs
Sign On/Relocation: $10K sign on, $8K relocation
Retention bonus of 10k for each year of service

QUALIFICATIONS Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner state license
Graduate from a fully accredited PA or NP program
One year of work experience as Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
One year of Epic experience
Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
Requirements :
