Position Type: Fulltime Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology
Overview
Seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to provide specialized care for neonates across Level III and Level II NICUs . This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, participation in teaching, and engagement in quality initiatives to enhance neonatal outcomes.
Practice Highlights
15-bed Level III NICU in Grand Rapids
8-bed Level II Special Care Nursery in Muskegon
Direct and indirect neonatal patient care
Collaborative work with physicians, nurses, and therapists
Epic EMR documentation
Opportunities for teaching, mentoring, and research involvement
Participation in community neonatal health programs
Flexible scheduling with no call requirements
Candidate Requirements
Board Certified in Neonatal NP (by start date) - REQUIRED
Active Michigan License & DEA - REQUIRED
ACLS & BLS - REQUIRED
Relevant neonatal/clinical experience - Highly Preferred
Fellowship in specialty - REQUIRED
Must maintain up-to-date licensure and certifications
Schedule & Coverage
Full-time schedule, flexible hours
No call requirements
Start date: Upon credentialing
Not accepting Locum candidates
