Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active)
Description:
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to play a leadership role in a brand-new Level-I Nursery scheduled to open in late 2024.
This unit will have an anticipated 600 deliveries a year with an average daily census of about 5 newborns.
The role involves 24-hour shifts, rounding on newborns in-house during the day, and taking call from home.
NNPs will be responsible for daily rounds on newborns, attending deliveries when requested, and will take call from home.
Practitioners will stabilize, manage, and facilitate the transport of newborns to NICUs for newborns needing a higher level of care.
The team will consist of multiple NNPs.
Opportunities for supplemental PRN shifts may be available, but these are not required for the Level 1 nursery role.
Candidates must have 2+ years of employment experience as a NNP, and new graduates are not being considered for this position.
