Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director Opportunity in Pocatello, ID
This is an exciting opportunity for a Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director at a well-established practice in Portneuf Medical Center, located in the beautiful southeast Idaho region.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide medical care to patients in the Pediatric Unit.
Consult with pediatric patients in the emergency department and for surgical procedures.
Manage a schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off.
Conduct rounds in the hospital while being on call from home.
Engage in collaboration and consultation with a sister program 30 minutes away at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Opportunity for faculty appointment with the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Qualifications:
Board Certified in Pediatrics - (REQUIRED)
Board Certified in Pediatric Hospital Medicine - (REQUIRED)
ID license or IMLC compact-eligible (or willingness to obtain) - (REQUIRED)
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership role - (REQUIRED)
Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) - (REQUIRED)
DEA certification (required prior to start) - (REQUIRED)
CSR/CDS certification (required prior to start) - (REQUIRED)
License and Certification Requirements:
Board Certification in Pediatrics
Board Certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine
ID License or IMLC Compact License eligibility
