Job Title: Emergency Department Clinical Pharmacist
Profession: Pharmacist

Duration: Full-Time Rotating Shifts & Every Other Weekend
Shift: 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Hours per Shift: 10.5
Experience: Clinical or hospital pharmacy experience preferred
License: Kansas Pharmacist License or eligibility for licensure highly preferred
Certifications: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program required
Must-Have: Emergency Department experience preferred
Description:
Join a dedicated and growing pharmacy team as an Emergency Department Clinical Pharmacist.
You will be at the forefront of patient care in a 26-bed emergency department supporting over 36,000 ED visits annually.
Play a vital role in shaping the future of emergency medicine pharmacy services.
Provide direct pharmaceutical care, including medication selection, dosing, monitoring, and education.
Lead development and implementation of ED-specific medication protocols and quality initiatives.
Participate in emergency response such as code blue, trauma, stroke alerts, and more.
Serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents, contributing to clinical education and practice.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes in urgent and emergent care scenarios.
Participate on medical staff and hospital-wide committees to support patient safety and care excellence.
