Neonatologist – Level III NICU – Fredericksburg, VA

Licenses/Certs: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology
Experience: Prior NICU leadership and neonatal care experience preferred

What You'll Do
Provide expert neonatal care in a Level III NICU and newborn nursery setting
Attend and manage high-risk deliveries collaboratively with OB teams
Deliver patient-centered care to approximately 9-11 neonates daily
Mentor and support NICU nursing and respiratory therapy teams
Develop and implement clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including neonatologists and nurse practitioners
Participate in strategic growth efforts and patient safety programs
Optional moonlighting opportunities across Virginia
What You Need
Required: Board Certified or Eligible in Neonatology
Valid medical license for Virginia or qualified to obtain one
Residency within the immediate local area (relocation support may be provided)
Preferred: Leadership or supervisory experience in a NICU environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
