Adult Outpatient Therapist – Behavioral Health – Southgate, MI

End Date/Duration: Ongoing
Shift: Monday – Thursday 8:30 am – 7:00 pm, Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am – 1:00 pm; some evenings/weekends may be required
Hours/Week: 35-40 hours
Employment Type: Full-Time
Licenses/Certifications: Michigan state licensure in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
Experience: Preferred 1+ year in outpatient mental health settings
Pay & Benefits
Pay Rate: $27.22 – $39.67 per hour, dependent on licensure (full license or limited license)
Agency Placement Fee: 25%

What You'll Do
Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide individual and group therapy for adult clients
Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care
Document clinical services and progress in compliance with agency policies
Participate in team meetings, supervision, and case consultations
Complete required training in mental health and co-occurring disorders
Assist in discharge planning and client follow-up
What You Need
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
Valid Michigan state licensure (full or limited license)
At least 1 year of outpatient behavioral health experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
