Job description
Full-time Physician Assistant in Garberville, CADelivering high-quality patient care in a community-focused primary care clinic. Supports clinical and administrative duties, collaborates with teams, and ensures compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care across a wide range of patient age groupsConduct physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as appropriateMaintain professionalism, courtesy, and responsiveness to patients, coworkers, and supervisorsSupport and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure quality care deliveryMaintain strict confidentiality regarding patient informationEnsure compliance with attendance, licensure, and clinic regulationsParticipate in staff meetings, committees, and special projects as neededAssist with the development and implementation of clinic policies and proceduresEngage in continuous learning to advance skills and knowledgeQualifications:Possession of a valid California license as a Physician AssistantCertification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)DEA license (unrestricted)NPI number requiredBLS certification requiredPreferred Skills:ACLS and PALS certifications preferredPrevious experience in primary care or underserved communities preferred
