Job description
Permit SpecialistWe are seeking a Permit Specialist to manage telecom and utility permit applications with local jurisdictions, utilities, railroads, and other agencies. This role will oversee permit submissions from application through approval, maintain permitting records, and provide guidance to junior team members.$22-30/hrRemoteKey Responsibilities:Prepare and submit AHJ permit applications for telecom and utility projectsResearch jurisdictional requirements, municipal codes, and permitting processesTrack permits through approval, expiration, and renewalMaintain accurate permit data, forecasts, and project recordsServe as a primary point of contact with permitting authorities and clientsSubmit and track power, aerial, joint-use, and make-ready applicationsCompile and deliver complete permit packages and project documentationAssist with training and mentoring junior permit specialistsSupport multiple markets and project teams as neededRequirements:1-4 years of telecom or utility permitting experienceExperience completing AHJ permit applicationsStrong permit tracking, documentation, and communication skillsExperience mentoring or training team membersValid driver's license and reliable transportationPreferred Qualifications:Aerial permitting experienceYou don't need to meet 100% of the requirements to apply.
