BenefitsHealth care benefits and PTO available if you transition to full time employmentDiscounts on Pet InsuranceCal-Savers retirement plan$500 bonus installed in two increments ($250 on your pay check 30 days after your first shift, $250 in your paycheck 90 days after your first shift!)Your ResponsibilitiesSupport participants with daily living skills such as cleaning, cooking, budget management, and light household dutiesFollowing care plans and helping participants achieve their personal goalsEncourage healthy habits, studies, hobbies, and social activitiesAssist participants access and participate in community activitiesAssist with personal care such as medication support, hygiene and bathing (lifting / transferring may be required)Collaborate Person-Centered Care planning with participant, staff and managementDocument shift and communication logsWho We're Looking ForSomeone who is compassionate with a person-centered mindsetSomeone who has a warm, respectful, and professional demeanorSomeone who is capable of communication with dignity and respect, especially during challenging momentsA valid driver's license and reliable form of transportationOkay with working with participants that smokeProfessional experience with behaviorsResponsible, and can document goal progress tracking with detailDSP 1 & 2 certification (preferred, applicants who are not yet certified can take advantage of our internal certification programs)CPR / First Aid certification (Training will be provided if applicants are not certified or need to be recertified)Weekend Availability (Is a plus but not required)Who We ArePeople Creating Success (PCS) is a Californian leader in providing services for adults with developmental disabilities for over 20 years.
