Personal Attendant/Caregiver PositionWe are looking for experienced personal attendant/caregiver, dedicated, and dependable professionals who enjoy working with the elderly and are committed to help improve their quality of life.We need caregivers that are able to work all over Orange County.Pay rates are:4 hours-$20-$238 hours-$18-$2012 hours-$18 and $19 since after 9 hours we pay time and a half.Live in pays gross $400 plus per day depending on the start time.Compensation & Benefits:Holiday PayBenefitsPaid Sick Leave401kVerizon Wireless DiscountReferral BonusFlexible Hours and ScheduleResponsibilities:Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)Bathing, grooming, personal care, feeding / meal prep, toileting ambulation, medication reminders, social interaction, and more!Be oriented and well trained on ALL aspects of the client’s Plan of CareMeal Prep and cookingAssist clients with LIGHT housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, changing linens, laundry, etc).Drive clients to and from medical appointments, grocery store, etcQualifications:Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) - This is a CA State requirement which involves registering as a Personal Attendant and providing Livescan fingerprints for a FBI Background check - Salus can help you with this process if you are not currently certified.TB Test - Must be within 90 days of startMust be able to legally work within the USAPhysical capability to perform all job functionsSafe driving record and valid auto insurance if you will be driving with clientsAbility to speak, write, and read English is a requirement
