Caregiver Position AvailableSalus Homecare is looking for caregivers that are able to work from Carlsbad to La Jolla. We are looking for candidates that are available Monday to Sunday 7 days a week. Hours available are 4 hours, 8 hours, and 12 hours. Clients are one on one and shifts are days and nights.Compensation & Benefits:Holiday PayBenefitsPaid Sick Leave401kVerizon Wireless DiscountReferral BonusFlexible Hours and SchedulePay Rates - $18.00-$23.00Responsibilities:Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)Bathing, grooming, personal care, feeding / meal prep, toileting ambulation, medication reminders, social interaction, and more!Be oriented and well trained on ALL aspects of the client’s Plan of CareMeal Prep and cookingAssist clients with LIGHT housekeeping (vacuuming, sweeping, changing linens, laundry, etc).Drive clients to and from medical appointments, grocery store, etcQualifications:Homecare Aide Certification (HCA) - This is a CA State requirement which involves registering as a Personal Attendant and providing Livescan fingerprints for a FBI Background check - Salus can help you with this process if you are not currently certified.TB Test - Must be within 90 days of startMust be able to legally work within the USAPhysical capability to perform all job functionsSafe driving record and valid auto insurance if you will be driving with clientsAbility to speak, write, and read English is a requirementPays $18 to $23
