Personal Banker - First City BankThe Personal Banker at First City Bank plays a critical front-line role in delivering relationship-based banking to consumers and small businesses. As a member of a de novo community bank, this role extends beyond traditional account opening to include proactive customer engagement, cross-functional branch support, and participation in community-focused outreach activities.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCustomer Relationship & Sales ExcellenceAssist consumer and small-business customers in selecting appropriate deposit accounts and services.Identify opportunities to deepen customer relationships.Serve as a trusted point of contact for customers.Promote the Bank's brand through professional service.Account Opening & ServicingOpen, maintain, and close consumer and business deposit accounts.Ensure compliance with CIP, BSA/AML, and Bank policies.Process deposits, documentation, and disclosures.Issue official checks and certificates of deposit.Operational & Branch SupportSupport teller, vault, safe deposit, and lending functions.Operate core banking systems.Maintain accurate records.Community & De Novo EngagementParticipate in community and CRA-related activities.Support branch events and outreach.Compliance & Professional StandardsEnsure compliance with all banking laws and regulationsComplete ongoing and annual professional bank training as required to enhance knowledge and remain in compliance.Maintain information security protocols physically and digitally.Maintain ethical conduct and professionalism.Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma required.3–5 years of banking or financial services experience.Working knowledge of common Microsoft business office suite productsStrong communication and customer service skills.Physical and Work RequirementsAbility to work standard business hours with flexibility as needed to support business development and community engagement activitiesAbility to sit, stand, and move throughout the branch as requiredWork Hours/DaysMonday-Friday 8:30am - 4:30pmLocation21 North Main Street Alpharetta, GA 30009 (Downtown Alpharetta / North Fulton)
