At Equity Bank we'll help you invest in your community through volunteer opportunities which align with our company initiatives and core values.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild Client RelationshipsConduct professional client conversations that build and sustain trust and credibilityDiscover key life events happening with clients to ensure bank products and services are meeting financial needsRecommend and provide accounts, loans, and services that match clients' financial needsPromote bank products and services within and outside the bankProactively make referrals to bank partners that result in additional revenue to the bankDemonstrate operational soundness to minimize risk exposure or loss and maintain quality productionAdhere to operating procedures and protocolsDeliver a Consistently Superior Client ExperienceDemonstrate excellent customer service skillsBehave in a manner to create a welcoming, engaging, professional environment for clients to experienceProactively resolve client issues in absence of or as directed by Bank ManagerRespond to routine client inquiries and requestsPerform teller duties as needed and process client transactionsApprove transactions for other employees within your assigned authority limitAssist with bank opening and/or closing as directedDemonstrate Compliance with Applicable Laws and RegulationsUnderstand and follow applicable laws and regulations for your job responsibilities, including but not limited to Equity Bank Business Ethics and Conduct policy, Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Information Security, Suspicious Activity Reporting requirements, policies, and proceduresFollow deposit account opening procedures and internal suspicious activity referral requirements and processes, as appropriate for this positionActively work with clients to understand each client's normal account activity, as appropriate for this positionComplete periodic compliance trainingThis position requires the employee to obtain and maintain NMLS certification in accordance with the SAFE Act and applicable lending regulationsRequired Skills & Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalentExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsComputer proficiency in Windows-based systemsAbility to maintain a high degree of confidentialityStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsCapable of working with a team to determine solutionsAbility to travel to Wichita, KS during first week of employment for required week-long trainingPreferredPrevious Banking ExperienceCustomer service experienceEquity Bank, a full-service, $7.9 billion community bank, is based in Wichita, Kansas, with over 80 bank offices throughout Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.
