Direct Support Professional OpportunityKindly Direct Care is seeking a dependable Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one in-home and community support position in Manalapan NJ 07726.About This OpportunityThe individual needs a DSP who is comfortable providing hands-on assistance while promoting dignity, privacy, choice, and as much independence as possible. Candidates should apply only if they are comfortable with the personal-care responsibilities listed below.Responsibilities May IncludeAssist with dressing/grooming/bathing/toileting/hygiene/meals.Provide support to a 53-year-old individual with cerebral palsy and limited verbal communication who requires assistance with ADLs and daily routines. The individual is moderately functioning and would benefit from a DSP who is caring, patient, sweet, and supportive. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on assistance while encouraging independence and maintaining a positive, comfortable environment.Provide one-to-one supervision, companionship, and safety support.Assist with community participation, errands, appointments, and meaningful activities as applicable.Follow individualized care, behavioral, medical, and safety instructions within DSP scope and training.Observe for and promptly report changes or concerns.Complete required service documentation, timekeeping, and communication accurately and on time.QualificationsComfortable providing the hands-on personal care specifically required by this assignment.Reliable, respectful, patient, and attentive to safety.Able to follow detailed instructions and maintain professional boundaries.Prior DSP, HHA, CNA, PCA, home care, behavioral health, or disability-services experience preferred for this assignment.Reliable vehicle requiredAble to meet the physical requirements of the assignment as discussed during screening.Schedule: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays 10:00AM-2:00PM. Pay: 18-21/hr. Location: Manalapan NJ (Monmouth County). Driving on shift: RequiredKindly provides required onboarding and assignment-specific training.
