Caregiver PositionThe Caregiver provides services to individuals in their homes and community who rely on others for basic daily care, such as bathing, eating, and personal hygiene. Caregivers typically work with the elderly or disabled individuals in a home setting.Client Conscious Care believes in providing care for our clients that is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with agency policies and industry standards. As our name states, we are Client Conscious; everything we do is with the best interest of our clients in mind.Caregiver Compensation and BenefitsFlexible working hoursShort shift incentivesPick up shift incentivesHolidays paid at time and a halfBirthday bonusesChristmas bonusesTraining and educational opportunitiesCompensation: $14 - $19 per hourCaregiver ResponsibilitiesHelp clients take prescribed medication through reminders onlyAssist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)Assist clients with personal care and hygieneHelp clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercisesComplete the client’s shoppingPerform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing mealsCollect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors, and family membersReport any unusual incidents to the Care Coach and the Field CoordinatorAct quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencyCaregiver RequirementsPrevious caregiver experience preferred but not requiredCPR (American Heart Association) CertificationWillingness to adhere to health and safety standardsKnowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraintsMust be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside mannerOutstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skillsPhysical endurance to complete required tasksHigh school diploma or equivalentClient Conscious Care is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
