Role Overview
Apply your UK personal finance expertise to help train and evaluate AI systems supporting household financial workflows and advisory tasks. You will provide practical, clearly written input grounded in how UK households manage savings, pensions, mortgages, and personal taxes. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
Complete real-world personal finance workflow tasks, including transaction review, budgeting, and account organisation, using securely connected UK bank accounts with personally identifiable information redacted.
Provide clear guidance on UK-specific topics including ISAs, pensions and SIPPs, mortgages, savings, and HMRC Self Assessment.
Evaluate and critique AI-generated financial advice against defined rubrics, providing actionable feedback to improve reliability and performance.
Review financial documentation to demonstrate how UK consumers and advisers handle filing deadlines, account types, and financial decisions.
Help refine evaluation rubrics and grading criteria for personal-finance outputs.
Keep current with changes to UK personal tax, pension, and savings regulations that affect project deliverables.
Qualifications
Degree or equivalent formal education in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
At least 4 years of hands-on experience in UK household personal finance, including ISAs, pensions and SIPPs, mortgages, and Self Assessment.
Experience in banking, wealth management, financial advice or planning, accountancy, tax planning, or operating an advisory or tax practice.
Strong document-handling, rubric-evaluation, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent written communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial concepts in accessible language.
Experience reviewing AI or model outputs using rubrics is preferred, but not required.
Credentials such as CFP, DipPFS, FCA-authorised IFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CTA, or ATT are valued. CFA or CTP designations are a strong plus.
Work Terms
Remote contract engagement.
Applicants must currently live in the United Kingdom and maintain active UK-based personal or business bank accounts.
Compensation
$90 to $110 per hour.
