Job description
Are you a skilled paralegal with experience in personal injury law? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Dross Berman LLC is seeking a talented Personal Injury Paralegal to join our team. This position offers the chance to work in a boutique law firm specializing in personal injury cases, providing crucial support to our attorneys and making a positive impact on our clients' lives.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in all pre-litigation phases of personal injury cases, including case management, document retrieval and client communication.
Occasionally assist with conducting initial client interviews to gather information and assist with client intake procedures.
Organize and maintain case files, including medical records, police reports, and other relevant documents.
Communicate with clients, witnesses, insurance adjusters, and government entities, both orally and in writing.
Provide administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and maintaining attorney-client communication.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in personal injury law.
Strong knowledge of personal injury law and civil litigation procedures.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:
Fluency in Spanish.
Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to review and summarize medical records.
