Job description
Persuasive Speaking Adjunct Professor
The Division of Business, Innovation, and Leadership, in collaboration with the General Education Program at Dominican University New York, invites applications for part-time instructors to teach Persuasive Speaking beginning in the Fall 2025 semester. This course is offered in person on campus, with most sections scheduled during daytime hours.
Requirements:
Master's degree in communication or a closely related field.
Capable of assessing students' verbal and written communication competencies.
Ability to guide students in the effective use of technology for delivering presentations.
Previous teaching experience preferred, but not required.
