Job description
Akumin is hiring a PET/CT Technologist (PRN) at our Vermont facility.
Responsibilities
Responsible for patient safety including pre‑screening for contraindications, aseptic injection technique, etc.
Radiation safety and regulations, including proper documentation and technique when working with radioactive materials/patients.
Produces high‑quality diagnostic images.
Effectively communicates with customers and/or radiologists.
Trains new technologists and/or PC's.
Troubleshoots the scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment (including monitors, PACS, coils, etc.).
Position Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience.
Certification in Nuclear Medicine by the NMTCB or ARRT (N).
State license, as required.
CPR certification.
As applicable, valid state driver’s license.
Ability to work at several locations.
Strong customer service skills.
Organizational and multi‑tasking skills.
Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's Degree or Equivalent Experience.
1‑2 years’ experience in Nuclear Medicine procedures and studies.

Compensation
Estimated hourly pay range for this role in Vermont is $57.30 - $68.53. Actual compensation depends on experience, skills, location, and other factors such as internal equity and budget.
