Additionally, this role is responsible for meeting company guidelines for guest experience, as well as complying with company guidelines for safety and food safety.Here's What You'll DoAssist in receiving, unloading, and stacking merchandise in the back room.Properly fill, rotate and merchandise shelves, cases and displays on sales floor.Notify the manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.Have familiarity with all products carried in the departments and know the product locations in the store.Handle spoiled/damaged products per established guidelines.Maintain clean, attractive and well stocked departments.Operate cash register and electronic scanner to itemize customer purchasesHandle small live animals and insects for customer purchase. Animals include but are not limited to rodents (large and small), crickets, meal worms, gerbils, snakes, and small reptilesFollow all PPE and Safety GuidelinesFollow all Food Safety and Cleaning ExpectationsFollow all Guest Experience GuidelinesMay be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience needAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as neededHere's What You'll NeedHigh School Diploma (GED) preferredRetail or related experience preferred.Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documentsBasic mathematical skillsDetail orientedPhysical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
