Pharmacy Technician (Nationally Certified)
Location: Charlotte, NC
Job Type: Contract
Pay Rate: Up to $18-20/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with occasional mandatory overtime and rotating Saturday shifts.
About the Role
We are seeking a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician to join a high-volume pharmacy operation in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have pharmacy technician experience, hold an active national certification, and thrive in a fast-paced production environment focused on accuracy, efficiency, and patient care.
Responsibilities Process and fill prescription orders for pharmacist verification.
Prepare completed prescription orders for shipment to patients.
Perform packing and shipping functions as needed.
Maintain drug inventory levels and automated dispensing units.
Replenish pharmacy workstation supplies, including vials, caps, labels, and related materials.
Follow established pharmacy procedures and quality standards.
Support operational goals while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
Minimum Qualifications Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT/PTCE).
Current registration with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy (NCBOP) .
Previous pharmacy technician experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications Self-motivated and dependable.
Ability to meet productivity and quality expectations.
Experience working in high-volume pharmacy operations.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Team Environment Join a team of 21 Pharmacy Technicians .
Report directly to a Pharmacy Supervisor.
Collaborative, high-volume pharmacy setting focused on operational excellence and patient service.
Work Schedule Monday through Friday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Occasional mandatory overtime required.
Rotating Saturday shifts required.
Schedule may vary based on business needs.
