Pharmacist - Acute Setting

nThe Pharmacist performs clinical and professional pharmaceutical work in the compounding and dispensing of drugs and IV supplies. The Pharmacist is responsible for reviewing prescriptions to ensure accuracy. The Pharmacist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan, monitor, review and evaluate patient effectiveness and adverse effects. The pharmacist provides information and advice regarding drug interactions and potential side effects as well as analyze prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance and to prevent excessive usage or harmful interactions.
nMinimum Requirements:
nnnCurrent registration and/or license as a Pharmacist in stateof practice required
n
nnOne (1) year of experience working as a licensed pharmacistpreferred
n
nnComplies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
n
nnCurrent CPR if applicable
n
nnTB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
n
nnCurrent Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
n
nnMust meet all federal, state and local requirements
n
nnMust be at least 18 years of age
