Shifts: Varying shifts - could be 6:00am-2:30pm, 7:00am-3:30pm, 8:00am-4:30pm, 11:00am-7pm, and/or 3:00pm-11pm
Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for a travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This role focuses on providing essential pharmaceutical services with compassion and excellence within a hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist Prepare and dispense drug orders per physician requests and established protocols
Maintain accurate patient drug records and ensure compliance with applicable laws
Manage controlled substances and ensure efficient services
Supervise pharmacy support personnel and verify pharmacy technicians' activities
Provide ambulatory care services, manage drug therapy, and provide patient education
Monitor drug therapy regimens and provide clinical consultation
Participate in quality improvement and medication use review activities
Requirements of the Pharmacist Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (preferred) or BS Pharmacy degree (accepted)
Must have state licensure (LA license required)
Hospital experience preferred
BLS or ACLS certification via AHA
