Job description
This opportunity offers a dynamic role for a licensed pharmacist eager to expand their experience in a 250-bed hospital environment located in Redding, CA. This position emphasizes collaboration and clinical expertise within a supportive healthcare setting, utilizing advanced technology to enhance patient care.
Responsibilities include:
Verifying medication orders with precision
Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
Consulting with physicians and nursing staff to optimize medication therapy
Managing pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
Supporting various pharmacy operations using Cerner and Omnicell systems
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active California pharmacist license
Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, adaptable attitude
Willingness to travel and work in northern California areas
Prior experience in hospital pharmacy preferred
Completion of PGY1 residency is highly regarded
Schedule and Location: Four 10-hour shifts per week with variable weekday and afternoon hours
Position based in Redding, CA, within a 250-bed hospital
