Pharmacist opportunity in a dynamic mail-order compounding pharmacy specializing in GLP-1 medications, serving customers across 37 states. This contract role is part-time with ongoing shifts on Monday and Tuesday, plus additional flexible days available in July. Based in Athens, Ohio, this position is ideal for pharmacists who thrive in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.
Responsibilities include verifying prescriptions with accuracy, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, overseeing dispensing workflows, and maintaining precise documentation to uphold quality standards. You will collaborate closely with pharmacy staff to guarantee timely order fulfillment within a mail-order setting.
Key Qualifications:
Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing
No negative licensure history
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively within a mail-order pharmacy
Previous prescription verification experience preferred
New graduates considered, with a commitment of one year; licensure fees covered
Work Schedule: Part-time: Mondays and Tuesdays ongoing
Additional shifts available during July
Pharmacy hours: Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
