Job description
A rapidly expanding mail-order compounding pharmacy specializing in GLP-1 therapies is seeking a licensed Pharmacist (RPh) to support operations. This role is centered on prescription verification and quality assurance within a mail order environment, offering minimal direct patient interaction. Candidates may choose either full-time or part-time schedules based on availability and preference, providing valuable flexibility.
Location: Athens, Ohio
Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
Flexible scheduling options within operating hours
Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently verify prescriptions
Ensure strict compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
Oversee dispensing processes in a mail order pharmacy setting
Maintain precise documentation and uphold quality assurance standards
Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff to ensure timely order fulfillment
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing
No history of negative licensure actions
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work efficiently in a mail order pharmacy environment
Previous prescription verification experience preferred
