nKey Responsibilities:
nnnReview, verify, and dispense medications accurately and efficiently
n
nnEnsure safe medication practices and regulatory compliance
n
nnCollaborate with providers, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
n
nnIdentify and resolve medication-related concerns, interactions, or discrepancies
n
nnSupport pharmacy workflow, inventory management, and controlled substance accountability
n
nnMaintain accurate documentation and pharmacy records
n
nnContribute to quality improvement initiatives and operational excellence
n
nnProvide education and support to healthcare staff as needed
n
n nWhat We Are Looking For:
nnnPharmD or post-graduate degree from an accredited program
n
nnActive Maine Pharmacist license (or ability to obtain prior to hire)
n
nnStrong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
n
nnExcellent organizational and communication skills
n
nnAbility to adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment
n
nnLong-term care, institutional, or clinical pharmacy experience preferred but not required
