Job description
This role calls for an experienced inpatient pharmacist to support multiple hospital departments including ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency. The position is based in Berlin, NH, and offers a contract opportunity with a Monday through Friday schedule plus rotating weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage inpatient medication orders and distribution, ensuring accuracy and safety
Work independently during weekends to support pharmacy operations
Collaborate with clinical teams across ICU, L&D, Med/Surg, and ED units
Utilize Meditech for electronic medical records and medication management
Operate Omnicell systems for medication dispensing and inventory control
Desired Experience: Minimum 2 years of previous hospital pharmacy experience
Proficiency with Meditech is preferred
Familiarity with Omnicell systems is a plus
Ability to work autonomously, especially on weekend shifts
Strong clinical knowledge to support diverse inpatient units
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00/7:30 a.m. to 4:30/5:00 p.m.
Rotating weekends every third weekend: Saturday/Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
40 hours per week
ASAP start preferred
