Job description
A retail pharmacist opportunity is available in Northern California to provide vital coverage during summer vacation periods. This role involves working in a retail pharmacy setting, supporting patient care, and ensuring accurate dispensation of medications.
Location:
Northern California (Blue Lake, CA region)
Schedule: Week of 6/22: Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts
Week of 6/29: Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts
Responsibilities: Accurately dispense medications in compliance with legal and professional standards
Provide counseling to patients regarding medication usage and potential side effects
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize pharmaceutical care
Manage inventory to ensure adequate stock levels
Maintain patient records and pharmacy documentation meticulously
Adhere to safety and quality protocols within the pharmacy
Qualifications/Desired Experience: Licensed Pharmacist (Retail experience preferred but not required)
