Job description
A Contract Pharmacist opportunity is available in Salem, MA, offering an ASAP start with a duration of 13 weeks or longer. This role involves working variable days and afternoon shifts, providing valuable pharmacy services in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and safety
Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient operations
Collaborate with physicians through clinical consultations
Manage pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
Utilize IT systems including EPIC and Pyxis for medication management
Desired Experience and Qualifications: Active Massachusetts pharmacist license required
Experience in hospital pharmacy practice preferred
Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis medication systems is a plus
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
