Job description
This opportunity offers a specialized role as a Home Infusion Clinical Pharmacist focused on delivering expert pharmaceutical care in a home infusion environment. The 60-day assignment provides a dynamic setting to apply your infusion and compounding expertise while managing and supporting pharmacy technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform accurate IV compounding and manage Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) preparations
Oversee and guide pharmacy technicians in daily operations to ensure compliance and quality
Maintain effective communication within the healthcare team to support patient care in a home infusion setting
Qualifications and Experience: Recent experience in home infusion pharmacy practice
Proficiency in sterile compounding with hands-on knowledge of current standards
Active and clear pharmacy license in Maryland
Location: Position based in Bowie, MD
Schedule: Wednesday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
This contract role requires completed agreements prior to commencement, ensuring all protocols and compliance standards are met.
