Job description
An independent pharmacy focused on personalized patient care is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This pharmacy is dedicated to delivering fast, friendly service and expert advice, emphasizing that healthcare is not one-size-fits-all. Their services include compounding, medication management, and delivery, all aimed at creating long-term relationships by treating patients like family.

Job Type: 13-week contract with potential to convert to permanent
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (32-40 hours per week)
Possible every-other-Saturday shifts from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (coverage may be available)
Key Responsibilities: Dispense medications accurately and comply with all regulations
Provide expert counseling on medication therapy, side effects, interactions, and proper use
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Maintain accurate patient records and review prescriptions for dosage and interaction concerns
Support and lead by example to foster a positive workplace culture
Stay updated on industry best practices, technology, and protocol changes
Qualifications: Active Tennessee Pharmacist License required
Prior experience with PioneerRX software preferred
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Commitment to exceptional customer service and patient care
Interview Process: First round: Phone interview
Second round: Onsite interview
