Job description
A 13+ week contract opportunity is available for a pharmacist to support a specialty pharmacy setting in Walker, MN. This role offers a blend of retail and long-term care pharmacy responsibilities, providing a diverse and engaging professional experience.
Location: Walker, MN
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Rotating weekends
Key Responsibilities: Dispense medications accurately in both retail and long-term care environments
Counsel patients on medication use and safety
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
Manage inventory and ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
Support long-term care facility medication management
Qualifications: Valid Minnesota pharmacist license
Recent experience practicing as a pharmacist, ideally with exposure to retail and long-term care settings
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
