Job Summary
nResponsible for providing prescription verification and pharmacy expertise in a Fulfillment Center to ensure patients receive the highest levels of quality and service. Performs pharmacist responsibilities independently and in partnership with pharmacist peers and the pharmacy staff to ensure consistent communication and execution.
nJob Responsibilities
nPerforms fulfillment center pharmacist tasks including, but not limited to prescription verification and data review; takes necessary actions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medications.
nReviews, interprets and accurately dispenses prescribed medications within pharmacy workflow.
nSupports the efficient workflow of the pharmacy and assists the pharmacy team in identifying ways to optimize pharmacy financials, inventory management and enhance processes that drive a safe, and quality output.
nMaintains current knowledge of information technology associated with pharmacy systems including workflow, prescription fulfillment, clinical documentation, training, and inventory management, to provide support to pharmacy staff. Seeks new and better ways to further promote productivity and quality.
nResponds to requests for information and/or policy interpretation from the pharmacy staff and leadership. Provides clear, effective feedback or coaching to pharmacy staff to ensure proper policy and process adherence, especially related to quality and accuracy.
nResponsible for all questions, dialogues, and issues which relate directly to prescription fulfillment processes within the micro fulfillment center.
nFollows guidelines and procedures for all job responsibilities to meet goals. Adheres to company policies and procedures including all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
nEnsures compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws.

nBasic Qualifications
nnnBS in Pharmacy or PharmD and at least one (1) year of experience in a retail pharmacy environment.
n
nnCurrent Pharmacist license as granted by the appropriate state licensing authority.
n
nnExperience motivating team members to research and resolve issues.
n
nnExperience working with confidential information.
n
nnWilling to work non standard hours, which may include evenings, holidays and/or weekends.
n
nnExperience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
n
nnExperience developing ways of accomplishing goals with little or no supervision, depending on oneself to complete objectives and determining when escalation of issues is necessary.
n
nnExperience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
n
nnWilling to travel up to/at least 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

n nPreferred Qualifications
nnnWillingness to obtain other state pharmacy licenses if needed.
n
nnKnowledge of insurance plans.
n
nnKnowledge of computer operating systems including Intercom, Promise, and Plus
n
nnBasic level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font style and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste and save functions, aligning text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting margins, selecting page orientation, using spell check and/or printing worksheets).

nnBasic skill level in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: inserting, rearranging, hiding and deleting slides, navigating between slides, increasing list level, adding, centering and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving objects, printing outline view and/or running a slide show).
n
nnBasic level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: opening a document, cutting, pasting and aligning text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and column width, sorting, inserting bullets, pictures and dates, using find and replace, undo, spell check, track changes, review pane and/or print functions).
