Job description

This role focuses on overseeing and verifying non-sterile compounding processes within a specialized compounding pharmacy. The ideal candidate brings a background in pharmacy with specific experience in non-sterile compounding, emphasizing quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

Location: Kennett Square, PA

Schedule:

Monday through Friday

9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Responsibilities: Oversee and verify technician-compounded non-sterile preparations to ensure accuracy and adherence to master formula worksheets.

Implement and adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies to ensure patient safety and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Enforce cleaning and garbing protocols consistent with company policies.

Perform calculations necessary for compounding and complete required documentation.

Operate production and computerized equipment accurately following established guidelines.

Maintain proper aseptic techniques and prepare work areas thoroughly before production.

Conduct quality control tests and inspections to verify the quality, purity, and potency of compounded medications.

Stay current with advancements in compounding techniques, formulations, and technologies through continuous professional development.

Qualifications: Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license.

Recent experience working in a pharmacy setting.

Demonstrated background and experience with non-sterile compounding practices.
