Job description
A growing GLP-1 mail-order compounding pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist (RPh) for a full-time role in Athens, Ohio. This pharmacy ships to 37 states and offers a dynamic environment focused on prescription verification and compliance, ideal for pharmacists who prefer minimal direct patient interaction.
Responsibilities:
Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
Oversee dispensing workflow in a mail order pharmacy setting
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold quality assurance standards
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure timely order fulfillment
Schedule: Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
Flexible scheduling available for part-time or full-time candidates within operating hours
Qualifications: Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing
No negative licensure history
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work efficiently in a mail order pharmacy environment
Previous prescription verification experience preferred
New graduates considered with a one-year commitment; client will cover licensure costs
