Pharmacist Consultant (Call Center)

nVirtual : This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, except for required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work-life integration, and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

nAnticipated Schedule After Training: Monday - Friday, 12 PM - 8:30 PM EST

nThe Pharmacist Consultant (Call Center) is responsible for supporting disease management programs and physicians care plans through drug therapy evaluation and consultation for program participants.

nHow you will make an impact:

nnnProvides evaluation of member Rx needs and therapies through review of medication history to determine if medications are appropriate.

nnAssesses member compliance with plan through direct contact with members and their physicians.

n

nnDetermines potential barriers to compliance and identifies solutions to overcome barriers.

n

nnEnsures that members understand appropriate use of current prescriptions.

n

nnReviews medications with physicians when therapies do not meet national standards and counsels physicians around alternative medications.

n

nnServes as a resource to the clinical team in disease management and other clinical areas..

n nMinimum Requirements:

nnnRequires BA/BS in Pharmacy and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

n

nnCurrent unrestricted Pharmacist license in applicable state(s) required.

n

n nPreferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

nnnPharmD preferred.

n

nnCall center experience strongly preferred and computer skills.
