Job description
This part-time retail pharmacist role serves a grocery store pharmacy located in Omaha, Nebraska. The position offers an ongoing contract assignment with a flexible two-week rotating schedule designed to accommodate candidate availability and pharmacy needs.
Schedule:
Week 1: Sunday: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Total: 24 hours
Week 2: Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Total: 17 hours
The pharmacy manager is open to schedule adjustments to best fit your availability.
Core Responsibilities: Verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy and patient safety
Provide counseling and medication guidance to patients
Oversee daily pharmacy workflow and support pharmacy technicians
Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
Deliver exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment
Qualifications and Experience: Active Nebraska Pharmacist license in good standing
Recent retail pharmacy experience preferred for fastest integration
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Flexibility to accommodate schedule changes when necessary
Experience with McKesson Enterprise software is preferred but not required
