Job description
A 100-bed community hospital located about 1 to 1.5 hours north of Oklahoma City seeks a pharmacist for a night shift position. This role involves working a 7-on, 7-off night schedule with responsibilities critical to inpatient care in a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
Supervise pharmacy technicians in daily workflows
Perform pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosing adjustments
Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapy and patient care
Desired Qualifications: Valid Oklahoma pharmacist license
Experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment preferred
Familiarity with Meditech or similar health IT systems is beneficial
Strong communication and clinical judgment skills
