Job description
An established hospital within a bustling medical center is seeking a skilled pharmacist to support its pharmacy operations. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your expertise will directly impact patient care in a large 500+ bed hospital.
Location: Cypress, TX
Job Type: Contract (13 weeks with potential temp-to-hire)
Schedule:
12:30 PM - 9:00 PM
1:30 PM - 10:00 PM
Responsibilities: Manage and dispense medications safely and accurately to inpatients
Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to ensure optimal pharmacological care
Utilize EPIC or similar electronic health records for medication management and documentation
Monitor patient drug therapies for efficacy and adverse effects
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications: Active Texas Pharmacist license
Texas IV Certification
Minimum of 3 years of inpatient pharmacy experience
Experience with EPIC electronic health systems preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a hospital setting
