Job description
UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh is seeking a Full-Time Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team on a steady evening schedule .
Join a nationally recognized pediatric health system and help deliver exceptional care to children and their families while enjoying a consistent weekday schedule.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
Evening shift
No weekends
Primary Responsibilities: Review and verify medication orders.
Ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medications.
Provide drug information and clinical consultation to healthcare providers.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
Support medication safety and quality initiatives.
Qualifications: PharmD or equivalent degree.
Current Pennsylvania pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure.
Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Pharmacist License
Clearances with Renewal: Act 31, 33, 34, & 73
