Description
nReview prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance prior to dispensing.
nVerify completed prescriptions in accordance with state and federal regulations.
nProvide medication counseling and answer patient questions regarding proper use, dosage, and potential side effects.
nSupport workflow management to ensure timely and accurate prescription processing.
nServe as a clinical resource for pharmacy technicians and support staff.
nAdditional Skills & Qualifications
nDoctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
nActive Pharmacist license in the State of Ohio (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
nStrong knowledge of pharmacology and medication therapy management.
nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
nStrong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
