Job description
A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to contribute expertise in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Rehabilitation setting. This contract position offers an immediate start and the potential to transition into a permanent role. The position is based in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, serving a specialty hospital environment focused on inpatient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and compliance with hospital protocols.
Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient pharmacy operations.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to provide pharmaceutical consultations.
Participate actively in patient care rounds and medication management.
Qualifications: Valid Oklahoma pharmacist license required.
Previous hospital or healthcare institutional experience preferred.
