nThe staff pharmacist will be responsible for the provision of progressive and comprehensive pharmaceutical services to the hospital patients and the retail pharmacy. The staff pharmacist will work closely with other health care providers to ensure positive patient outcomes associated with safe medication practices. The retail pharmacy fills prescriptions for KVH Hospice under a collaborative practice agreement with our Hospice Medical Director utilizing algorithms approved by the Board of Pharmacy

nWhat is required...
nnBachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
nCurrent license to practice Pharmacy in the State of Washington
nFamiliarity with Automated Dispensing Cabinetry (ex. Pyxis)
nCurrent CPR card (maintenance required)
nCurrent PALS card (maintenance required)
n nWhat is preferred...
nnTwo years’ work experience in a hospital setting
nAmerisource Bergen, Cerner experience
nCPOE, Emar, Rx Informatics experience
nBar Code at the Bedside experience
nRetail Pharmacy Experience
nKnowledge of the 340B Program
nPrior experience with Hospice protocols and guidelines
n nAdditional Information
nWage: Wage range currently starts at $61.21/hour and goes up to $92.78/hour. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience.
nFTE: 1.0 (40 hours/week)
nBenefits: This position is benefits eligible
