Job description
A community hospital with 150 beds seeks a dedicated Night Pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis. This role supports critical overnight operations, ensuring safe and effective medication management in a fast-paced environment approximately 30 miles northeast of Nashville, TN.
Schedule:
7 nights on, 7 nights off
10-hour shifts
Responsibilities: Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
Supervise pharmacy technicians during night shifts
Conduct pharmacokinetic evaluations and adjust therapies accordingly
Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
Maintain compliance with state and hospital regulations
Desired Experience and Qualifications: Active Tennessee pharmacist license
Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Strong communication and clinical skills
Willingness to travel as required for assignment fulfillment
