Job description
A compounding pharmacist opportunity is available in Greensboro, NC, offering a contract-to-hire position. This role involves working a 40-hour week, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and every third Saturday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. The average prescription volume includes 78 compounded prescriptions daily, utilizing PK pharmacy software (training provided).
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare providers to tailor pharmaceutical care to individual patient needs.
Prepare and dispense compounded prescriptions, covering sterile and non-sterile medications.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
Provide expert pharmaceutical advice to patients to promote optimal health outcomes.
Assist in training and supervising pharmacy technician staff.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Licensed pharmacist in North Carolina.
1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience; new graduates with a strong interest in compounding are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of USP 795, 797, and 800 compounding standards.
Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations and prescription processing.
