Job Description
Pharmacist
BlueSky Pharmacy LLC is a Long-term Care pharmacy in Gretna, NE. BlueSky Pharmacy is committed to ensuring safe, effective, and compliant medication therapy for residents in long-term care settings.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and resolve drug-related problems, including interactions, duplications, contraindications, and inappropriate dosing.
Provide clinical recommendations to prescribers and facility staff to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
Verify prescriptions and ensure accurate dispensing.
Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff, prescribers, and facility administrators.
Communicate recommendations clearly and professionally to interdisciplinary teams.
Assist with formulary management and cost-effective medication use strategies.
Support pharmacy technicians and other staff as needed.
Pharmacy Hours Monday-Friday 9:00 AM-5:30 PM
Weekends as needed
Occasional rotating on call

Qualifications Licensed Pharmacist (PharmD Preferred)
LTC experience preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Preferred Skills Proficiency in medication reconciliation and MAR documentation
Experience training and mentoring pharmacy staff
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions May involve standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs
Flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Exposure to confidential patient information; HIPAA compliance required
