Job description
This opportunity invites experienced pharmacists to support a progressive pharmacy department at a major 500-bed hospital. The role offers valuable inpatient experience in a dynamic healthcare environment with the chance to work alongside a dedicated team committed to patient care excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inpatient order verification accurately and efficiently
Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
Manage pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosing adjustments
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy
Utilize Cerner electronic health record system for documentation and communication
Desired Qualifications: Current California Pharmacist license
Proven inpatient pharmacy experience
Familiarity with Cerner is highly valued
Ability to commit full-time with flexible schedule availability for variable days or afternoon shifts (10 hours)
Strong communication and leadership skills
Schedule: 10-hour shifts, variable days and afternoons
Immediate start with a minimum 13-week contract duration
