A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist. This role offers career growth, a supportive work environment, and full-time hours (40+ per week). If interested in this Pharmacist position APPLY NOW for IMMEDIATE consideration Brittney Blackman | | text Pharmacist | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION: Location: Wilkes-Barre area, PA – 100% on-site Payrate: $ /hr – based on shift Required Availability: Full-Time | Must be able to work one of the following schedules (based on business need) | Every 3rd weekend required (Sat & Sun 9:00 AM–5:00 PM) for the schedules listed below: Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (65.75/hr) Monday–Friday 11:00 AM–7:30 PM (65.75/hr) Monday–Friday 1:00 PM–9:30 PM (67.50/hr) Pharmacist | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS: The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing prescription medications, ensuring safe and appropriate therapy, and providing patient counseling on proper medication use, side effects, and interactions. This role also supports pharmacy operations by maintaining accurate patient records, overseeing inventory practices, and supervising pharmacy support staff as needed. This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Pharmacist | RESPONSIBILITIES: Accept, verify, and dispense prescription medications in accordance with applicable laws and pharmacy standards Monitor patient medication compliance and identify potential overuse patterns Ensure prescribed medications are appropriate for the patient and intended therapy Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and pharmacy documentation Counsel patients on medication directions, storage, side effects, and potential interactions; answer medication-related questions Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription products as appropriate Educate patients on proper use/handling of common medical devices (as applicable) Support compounding and preparation activities per policy/procedure (including sterile prep where applicable) Supervise/support pharmacy staff (e.g., technicians/clerks) and promote efficient workflow Maintain appropriate inventory levels of medications and medical supplies Identify and communicate drug-related problems with prescribers and other healthcare team members Pharmacist | REQUIREMENTS: Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) (verifiable) License: Active Pharmacist license in the state of practice (in good standing) Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
